Average Price of Detached Home in Toronto now over One Million
For the first time ever, the average selling price of a detached home in Toronto passed the one million dollar mark to $1,040,018, and sales are up 16.9% year-over-year.
If you bought a detached home in the 416 area code a few years ago, you must be smiling ear-to-ear!
The Toronto Real Estate Board recently published data for the month of February 2015 for the Greater Toronto Area (GTA).
The report breaks down the data for Toronto (416 area code) and the surrounding municipalities (905 area code).
The GTA is defined as the central city of Toronto, and the four regional municipalities that surround it, namely: Durham, Halton, Peel, and York.
